CASE OVERVIEW

In the world of thoroughbred horseracing, certain names need no explanation, just the mere mention attracts inspiration, appreciation and respect. One such name is Godolphin. One of the original Arabian stallions, Godolphin is synonymous with his Highness, Sheik Mohammed and his love for the thoroughbred racehorse.

The modern day Godolphin’s headquarters and world renowned breeding stud is situated in England’s home of flat racing, Newmarket, and in keeping with the wishes of owner Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of Dubai, it serves as an architectural and captivating showpiece for the sport, showing off his highness’s renowned attention to detail, together with an appreciation of modern technology.
SOLUTION 

Answering to the design brief for an upgraded, compliant and aesthetic emergency lighting scheme, for Mackwell, the solution required little ‘out of the box’ thinking. Our DALI compatible XYLUX luminaire portfolio, together with fully compliant luminaire conversion solutions, all supported by our N-light CONNECT test and monitoring system, complimented the subtleties of the scheme perfectly, whilst providing the reassurance and reliability that our brand brings.

Ethernet backboned networking of the N-light CONNECT panels, feeding back to an installation based PC, offers central monitoring of the emergency lighting system together with the reassurance of locally emailed test reports at monthly intervals, in keeping with BS: EN 50172.
