CASE OVERVIEW
Microsoft first came to Reading in the 1980s, setting up in Vastern Road, where the office is now known as Great Brigham's Mead, before moving into the park.
In an overarching goal of the Thames Valley Park campus in Reading, they wanted to modernise and create a healthy, inspiring workplace that supports the needs of Microsoft employees. The workplaces were to feature more natural light and foster the type of creativity that will lead to ongoing innovation, advance the industry and benefit customers.
Over the last few years, Microsoft has consistently transformed the way that people live, work, play, and connect through great technology and by creating inspiring workspaces, Microsoft feel they can make further transformations.
During the building updates, refurbishment and even the construction of the Thames Valley Park, Microsoft building Mackwell partnered with Data Techniques to provide LED emergency lighting throughout.
