When we visit a department store it is with the intention of shopping or browsing, which in turn leads to preoccupation. A compliant emergency lighting system is essential in unfamiliar environments, to allow safe and immediate evacuation when necessary. During times of economic uncertainty however, this necessity for emergency lighting can prove to be a costly overhead.
