Towering to the skies, this deluxe hotel & residence is the 36th tallest man-made structure in the world, firmly placing it on the map as the most desirable destination in the Middle East.

CASE OVERVIEW

As a high-rise upscale development, the complex aims to redefine the traditional concepts of a beachfront hotel and offer a unique guest experience.

It consists of a mixed use 77 storey twin tower development which includes a five star Emaar Address branded hotel, serviced branded apartments and residential apartments with an effective built up area (BUA) of approximately 255,000m2.

The towers will be the first Address Hotel being classified as a resort development. The developments facilities consist of extensive landscaped and pool areas, all day dining, luxury gym and spa, podium level terraced bar, various leased restaurants, a roof top infinity pool and a bar area.
SOLUTION 

Consultants, Turner & Townsend specifically requested Mackwell's involvment in this project, due to the high quality of our prducts and wealth of experience we provide.

The XYLUX LR3 was specified for a number of reasons; the LR3 is specially designed for use where high lux levels are required. The reflector and optic design maximises performance whilst complying with 10.8 lux requirements. This has a two-pronged advantage, by meeting the requirement for the region but also offering excellent output in an emergency situation. Another reason is due to the installation advantages; the driver is located in articulated plastic housing, making is simple and convienient to install on-site. The XYLUX LR3 also has a neat, miniature design that blends into the five star design of the hotel and architectural environment seemlessly.

The central battery variant was chosen for this project.
