Testing

Compliant components result in compliant solutions. At Mackwell, via third party test house testing, we have proven compliant control gears, luminaires and systems. Third party testing is only the start, however. Our laboratory engineers test products constantly. Battery acceptance, EMC, Immunity, mains harmonic emissions, together with high-temperature ageing and endurance are just some tests that we subject our own products to. In addition, we offer thermal and EMC testing of luminaires using specialized equipment in support of our clients, and our CDS-500 spectrometer and integrating sphere enable us to test and measure the luminous flux, radiant flux, CCT and colour rendering of our own LED light sources and engines. Viewed by some as an expensive overhead, our approach to testing is a key factor in helping us to deliver excellence.
